The ALFIE Jacket draws on the understated character of British sports jackets from the 1960s and ’70s, relaxed, practical and quietly distinctive.
Cut from pure Shetland wool woven by Abraham Moon & Sons in Yorkshire, the cloth features a richly textured houndstooth in warm, earthy tones. Its dry handle and naturally substantial character give the jacket structure without the need for unnecessary construction.
The Alfie is completely unlined, allowing the Shetland wool to remain visible on the inside and giving the jacket a softer, more natural drape. Three patch pockets further emphasise its relaxed character.
For those who appreciate the finer nuances of tailoring, working sleeve buttonholes may be specified upon request, a quiet nod to sartorial tradition.
Designed as an everyday alternative to the conventional blazer, it works naturally with denim, flannel or corduroy and becomes better with wear.
